gap to secure him the Title with a round to spare.
Errol has been riding on Axis Motorsports tuned suspension for his entire senior
career. "I can't thank the boys from Axis enough. I needed to be confident my
bike soaked every obstacle without deflecting or bucking me off. Look at my results -
Axis Motorsports suspension works!".

Current WA State championship leader Michael Addison has decided to return to Team 07 Axis Motorsports for a 2 Round return to the MX Nationals. Michaels recent move back to his home State, his recent marriage and his new role as Head Coach for BCP have proved a winning combination for Michael. So when presented with an opportunity to in the Premier Pro Open class arose he felt it a great way to test his new found speed. Mick will be riding an Axis prepped CRF450R for the Moree and Coolum rounds. An exited Michael Addison said "I never really wanted to cease racing at a National Level, but being based on the East Coast wasn't the best fit for me. The move back to my home town with my new wife AJ has been a positive one and allows me a schedule with enough flexibility to race and train at a National Level".

Mixed fortunes at Coonabarabran
Written by Mat Brown

After surveying what is arguably the best MX track in Australia on Saturday, an exited team 07 Axis Motorsports Honda was keen for a solid result on race day Sun.

Racing began an hour earlier than usual to accommodate for the over 3 minute lap times.

As usual it was the under 19’s up first. Dylan Peterson, returning from a 5 week injury spell after breaking his collarbone in a training accident had only 20mins bike time before this track. Dylan qualified 3rd and would struggle with poor starts all day. His race results of 5-6-3-5 would see him finish on the podium in 3rd position on the day.

Justin McDonald, Cody Mackie and Keiron Hall would have a day of mixed fortunes in the Pro Lites class with McDonald being the best finisher in 4th position going 5-2-5-8. Cody Mackie started the day strong with a solid 3rd in the first Moto, but would also succumb to poor starts on the day. His 3-5-11-11 would be only good enough for 7th on the day. Keiron Hall had a tough day in the office and would be the only rider in the team not to move up in the championship points standings. An electrical problem on his bike nearly forced Keiron to re-join the race 1 lap down to salvage 20th position. His results of 20-12-13-10 would see him to 14th position overall for the day.

Team 07 Axis Motorsports co-owner Mark Haughton reflected on the day saying “I am happy to have Dylan back, and am satisfied with his podium. He will enjoy a further 2 weeks of training and will be 100% fit and ready for Albury. As for our Pro Lite guys, I was expecting a better result – but it’s an extremely competitive year this year. Ideally it would be great to have all riders on the podium, but realistically it is very difficult to do – but stranger things have happened”.

Peterson to miss Toowoomba due to Injury

Peterson who has been steadily progressing up the championship points table currently sits 3rd in the championship race and was looking forward to returning to the place where he recorded his first race win at a national level.

“I am extremely bummed out that this has happened as the team was pumped and the bikes primed to mount a challenge for the championship in the last half of the season. Missing this round doesn’t rule me out of the championship race but i am going to have to basically lay it all on the line over the remaining rounds and hope a couple of results fall my way to make an impact” a disappointed Peterson says.

Team 07 Axis Honda co-owner Mark Haughton adds “ Although it is the nature of the sport it doesn’t make it any easier on the team after all the work and effort we have put in. Dylan is on the team to win championships so come round 6 at Coonabarabran it will be business as usual for Peterson providing he is healthy”.

Dyaln would like to thank his sponsors Fox, Oakley, Alpine Stars, Holcim, Cars R Us, LKI, RPM Transport and 07 Axis for their continued support.
