| Spanos enjoys his Axis Ride in Parramatta |
Derek Mayo and Josh SpanosDue to Team 07 Axis Motorsport Pro Lite rider Wade Thompson being unable to race Parramatta SX there was an
opportunity to let another rider into the Team for a one off rider under the Transporter.
Josh is a privateer and also a full time Mechanic for Loxton Motorcycles in South Australia. He raced the National MX
Series with varied success and decided to race the SuperX Series.
Josh and his family has built up a relationship with Axis Motorsports through engine and suspenion improvements.
What better way to thank a someone for their patronage than to offer them a ride on our Race Bike on Team 07 Axis.
The first goal for the day was to qualify for evening races. We ticked of this goal in the first qualifying session.
Evening finals consisted of 4x5 lap races. Josh was taken out in the 1st race, finished 16th in Race 2 and 3, but his
best race would be Race 4 where he was in 7th position at one stage only to be taken out by another rider.Â
Josh has been supported by Loxton Motorcycles all season, as well as Scott Goggles, Brett Hammerstein Concretors
and Collins Industrial Distributors and will be riding the Brisbane Round in 3 Weeks. d
